Going Interactive has a great digital “Whack-A-Mole” style game that works fantastic in B2B Trade Show Booths.
In fact in the most recent client usage they said: “Yes, this went very well! Lots of activity at this show. It’s always good when you annoy the neighbors because there are too many people at your booth!”
Our clients have gotten creative as far as adapting it for their particular uses. Versions have included “annoying notifications” popping up to whack for points, products with $$ values popping up to total a $$ amount, company products popping up for points and “features and benefits” popping up for points.
Typically the Whack-a-Mole style game is used on a mounted touch screen monitor inside the trade show or exhibit booth. It also works well on an iPad or Microsoft Surface.
It features a lead collection form before game play. And then a Leader Board display after game play. So booth attendees / players can see if they made the Top 20 players. Some exhibitors give daily prizes out to the top one or two players.
Each client gets a unique customized version of “Tap-Away” based on their branding and concept. Design templates can be supplied for internal teams to design – or Going Interactive is happy to design the game.
Game play starts with the “How to Play” screen that displays the items the player is to “whack” or “tap” – and the points associated with them – and which “bomb” / negative point item to avoid.
Then the actual game play happens. The game pieces pop up and down in increasing frequency as the players tries to tap them. The game clock counts down as the play. At the end of the game a score total is displayed with a button to check out the leader board.
Going Interactive has a number of digital games for trade show booths that help exhibitor bring gamification to their booth – cost effectively and experience effective.
