Going Interactive is happy to announce its partnership with the nonprofit KIPP of Metro Atlanta schools to redesign the new KIPP Metro Atlanta website (www.kippmetroatlanta.org). GI will collaborate with KIPP on the strategy, user experience, design, and development of the entire website. The result will be a fully responsive website that will be accessible via mobile, tablet and laptop / desktop computers.
KIPP Metro Atlanta Schools is part of the growing network of KIPP (Knowledge Is Power Program) Charter schools across the nation. KIPP is a network of free, open enrollment, college preparatory schools dedicated to preparing students in underserved communities for success in college and in life. There are 162 KIPP schools in 20 states and the District of Columbia serving more than 59,000 students. In Metro Atlanta, there are eight KIPP schools including three elementary schools, four middle schools, and one high school, as well as the KIPP Through College Program which supports students on their journeys “to and through” college. KIPP Metro Atlanta Schools plans to serve more students each year as it grows into a full K-12 network.
For the redesign, Going Interactive will work with KIPP on their business objectives along with audience needs. GI will conduct internal and external interviews across a diverse social and age group. The results will help align our strategy, design and development of the new interface.
Considering the growth of smartphone usage, it’s critical the new website works seamlessly on mobile devices and is responsive to the users screen across all platforms. The information architecture and UX will promote core KIPP values and the proper call-to-action elements for the intended audiences.
Going Interactive is excited to help create a more effective and useful Metro Atlanta nonprofit website design to help serve this amazing Charter school system.
