The Need.
The Youth of the Year competition is open to all Boys & Girls Club members ages 14-18. Each Club honors one young man or woman every month and then chooses one outstanding youth to represent their Club at the annual Youth of the Year Awards & Dinner Celebration. Scholarships are awarded to all participants, with higher level awards given to the top finalists and the Youth of the Year winner. They Youth of the Year event is a great way to show off all the kids and Clubs do to donors and sponsors of BGCMA. The Atlanta local event is also a great way to raise money and create marketing for the Clubs successes.
The Solution.
Each year the creative focus is different so each Youth of the Year celebration stands apart from previous years. The 2017 concept had a formal style and was called “The Time is Now”. This Atlanta marketing event gave the opportunity for the attending audience members to give at the event. Logos, invitations, event programs, sponsorship packets, posters, pledge cards, banners, presentation screens and 5 unique videos were created to showcase individual stories that took place during the past year at local Atlanta Clubs. The arts, leadership, technology, fitness and college / career bound were covered during the evening event.
