How’s Your LinkedIn Photo?

Not sure whether you should have a business or casual looking LinkedIn profile pic?

I guess it depends on what your business and professional goals are. But one thing is for sure, profile pics are important. The data shows it.

Check out this piece on BusinessInsider.com with the cool Heatmap image of a viewers eyeball time on a LinkedIn profile. Turns out a whopping 19% of the viewing time is spent checking out your photo. Now granted, this study was based on surveying Recruiters, but it’s a likely bet that regular business potential clients, vendors and contacts who view your profile are also checking out the pic first and foremost.
