If you’re like us, you’ve noticed an annoying doubling or even tripling of non-sensical spam. The old “Hi, It’s me…” type.

Here’s an interesting article on the NY Times website describing the problem. It’s interesting that in the beginning of 2006 authorities thought spam was under control. And Bill Gates himself is even quoted as saying the problem of junk e-mail “will be solved by 2006”.
