I gotta say, I always took it for granted until the other day opening a new Apple box and when I suddenly realized how awesome it is that Apple gives you stickers in every new computer box.

Just another great marketing detail by them.

I mean what other large PC developer (or any electronics company for that matter) would spend the extra money and time putting nice looking stickers of their logo in their boxes.

It kind of reminds me of how albums in the 70s used to have posters and stickers in them. Especially KISS records. How great it was to buy a new album and just KNOW you were going to get a cool poster in it. Heck they even put in temporary tattoos in the KISS Alive II as well.

KISS helped build their fan base back then the way Apple helps build and keep it’s fan base with sticker that appear on cars, notebooks and guitar cases everywhere. Great end customer advertising indeed.
